How does Pigment Removal treatment work?

The rapid absorption of laser pulses by highly melanin-concentrated pigmented lesions, such as melasma or age spots, causes the skin layers to warm up from the energy. This results in the elimination of cells with a high melanin content without causing harm to the surface layer.

The laser light prompts the creation of new cells and stimulates collagen production in the skin. This, in turn, results in the development of a temporary scab that aids in the gradual removal of the dark lesion.
